In my opinion, this is one of the more interesting and successful Pocher models. This model represents the 2-seater Cabriolet version of the car. About 600 cabriolets were built from 1936 to 1940.
This was one of the last Pocher models built by the company and included the plastic wheels instead of the older wire wheels. The plastic spokes are a little thicker than the wire used in the older kits and this makes them more to scale. With about 1 micron of paint they come in at .040 inch, which scales to 8mm. From my research, that’s just about right.
Other than that, the model has the usual Pocher details:
Working brakes
Working headlights
Working doors
A very nicely detailed engine
Artificial leather interior
