1/35 Revell RSO/03 & 7,5 cm Pak 40 Plastic Model Kit 03067

The RSO was specially developed by the Steyr company between 1941 and 1942 for use by the German army as a tractor and transport vehicle on the Eastern Front. In order to increase production capacity, orders were placed with other firms, but instead of the standard metal driver's cab these had a simplified wooden cab. In addition to Russia, the RSO was used by mobile anti-tank units as a tractor for the 7,5 cm Pak 40 to defend against the threatening Allied invasion in northern France. The 7,5 cm Pak 40 was the standard anti-tank cannon used by the German army on all fronts.
